There have been a few reports going around that TNA’s Bound for Glory PPV is sold out. However, Keiji Mutoh (The Great Muta) has since noted that it was a computer error, and tickets are still available for the 10/12 show from Korakuen Hall in Japan.
TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley is expected to be added to the PPV with this week’s Impact Wrestling tapings, which are the final two weeks of television leading up to the show. The reason TNA has not advertised him for their biggest event of the year is that Lashley recently fought for Bellator MMA, winning his fight against Josh Burns. TNA was prepared to change their plans depending on how his fight turned out, in case Lashley sustained any serious injuries. Now that he’s been given the all-clear, a title match should be set up in the coming weeks for Bound for Glory.
There are no announced matches for the PPV at this time, however as we’ve been reporting the main event before the live Japanese crowd is expected to be James Storm and Sanada facing The Great Muta and Yoshihiro Tajiri. Wrestle-1 has their portion of the card set in stone, and at this point TNA should have most if not all of their matches figured out.
