Sheamus vs Seth Rollins
Sheamus hits Rollins in the corner and Rollins rolls outside, then he hits Sheamus as he gets back in and goes for a suplex. Sheamus blocks it and kicks Rollins in the face, then he suplexes Rollins and elbows him in the face. He hits Rollins a few more times as Cesaro makes his way out, then we get back from a break to see Sheamus hit a Battering Ram off the ropes. Sheamus connects with a kneelift and a powerslam, then he goes for White Noise but Rollins elbows him and Cesaro tries to distract him. Cesaro picks up Sheamus’ title and Rollins tries to steal a rollup, then Cesaro and Sheamus have a tug of war with it on the steps. Sheamus lets go and Cesaro falls back into the barricade, but Rollins kicks Sheamus in the back of the head and follows with a Curb Stomp for the win.
Cesaro gets in the ring and attacks Sheamus, mocking him with a ‘FELLA’ yell, and he hits a Neutralizer before leaving.
Winner – Seth Rollins
Lana and Rusev come out and mock the United States, then she ads parody lyrics to the United States’ national anthem before playing the Russian one.
Sami Zayn & Adrian Neville vs Tyson Kidd & Tyler Breeze
Sami gets an armdrag takedown and puts Breeze in an armbar, then Kidd gets in and chokes Sami with his boot before kicking him in the back. Kidd and Breeze hit Sami a few times and Breeze hits a neckbreaker, then Sami takes Breeze down and Neville connects with several kicks off the tag. Neville hits a standing moonsault but Kidd breaks up the pin, so Neville tosses him outside and Sami splashes him on the floor. Neville sends Breeze into the corner and splashes him, then he follows it with Red Arrow for the win.
Winners – Sami Zayn & Adrian Neville
BP: This is exactly the kind of brand integration they need to use in WWE. NXT doesn’t have to be featured throughout the show, but having them on once in a while will establish some recognition. This was a good match that showcased another brand, and it increased the quality of the show instead of detracting like some other segments could. I hope they do this more from time to time, and not just for the live specials.
