Legendary talk show host and comedian Joan Rivers passed away this afternoon, at the age of 81-years-old. She had been on life support since August 30, after suffering complications during throat surgery, leading to a medically induced coma and cardiac arrest.
Joan had a professional relationship with several wrestlers during her iconic career, including a memorable interview with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper during her run as the host of The Late Show in 1987. She was one of the many celebrity guests at WrestleMania II, as the guest ring announcer during the New York portion of the show.
