NXT Tag Team Tournament Semi-Finals
Kalisto & Sin Cara vs. Sami Zayn & Adam Rose
Rose starts things off trading wrist locks with Kalisto. Sami Zayn tags in to a big pop, and Sin Cara comes in as well. Lots of “Ole!” chants now, which is pretty ironic given their opponents. Kalisto does a few high flying manuevers and Sami takes a breather to the outside. They taunt the diving sentons over the ropes, but put on the breaks and rebound off the ropes, doing the “lucha!” chants instead – the mind games are real.
After the break, Rose hits Kalisto with a big back suplex. He backs into the corner and tags Sami, who delivers a backbreaker and starts throwing his opponent into turnbuckles around the ring. Sin Cara eventually makes the hot tag and gets some help from Kalisto, who lifts him up and splashes him down. The lucha stars tag in and out with quick tags, working over Sami, who eventually hits a surprise backbreaker on Kalisto for a two-count. Rose tags in to slow things down, slapping on a side headlock. He throws a few elbows to weaken his opponent, followed by a huge spinebuster. Sin Cara makes the hot tag and gets a crossbody off the top rope. Zayn hits the ring but is sent to the floor, and Cara hits a springboard back elbow for a two-count. Cara goes through the ropes to take down Sami, and Kalisto does his standing Sliced Bread #2 move. Sin Cara comes back and hits the Senton Bomb for the win.
