John Cena comes out and says Brock Lesnar will conquer him and beat him down… if you believe Paul Heyman. He says Brock will not win, because that means he would have to lose, and that’s not happening because Brock doesn’t deserve the championship. Cena says one day he will lose, but it’s not going to be Sunday, and he doesn’t like Brock for being an ungrateful, selfish bully. He says he’s heard everything the fans on both sides have said, but he still comes out with a smile on his face. Cena says they always ask about when he ‘turns’, and stops being about what’s right to unleash hell, so he will do what it takes.
Cena says he will transform on Sunday and give them all what they want, because he will keep his title away from Brock at Summerslam. Cena says he heard everything Paul Heyman said tonight, and if this is Brock’s house, he’s the stranger standing in it. Cena dares Brock to come kick him out of the ring, and mocks Brock for bitching out, then he says he has an answer for Heyman. Cena says he will do the conquering this Sunday, and he is the one to beat ‘the one’, and the champ is here.
BP: Good, intense promo from Cena. He needed to stay away from the corny stuff, and did it. I was already excited for the match, but now it just took it up another notch. Heyman was pure gold tonight, but Cena did everything he needed to in response.
Brie Bella comes to the ring ready for a match, but Stephanie McMahon comes out and says she actually does have to wait for Summerslam to fight. She says Megan the physical therapist has decided to press charges against Brie, then some detectives come out and handcuff her and read her Miranda rights. Stephanie taunts her and says she should be careful, then Brie is escorted out and Stephanie says this is a lesson that ‘what goes around, comes around.’
