-Apparently they had to re-tape the debut of Chris Melendez. This segment and the next match will actually air on the 9/11 edition of the show, which goes head-to-head with NXT Takeover 2.
(1) Chris Melendez def. Zema Ion
–Bobby Roode comes out as the new #1 contender to the TNA World Championship, but is interrupted by MVP, Bobby Lashley and Kenny King. We get a staredown between champion and challenger, and it comes to blows. Samoa Joe and EY make the save to even the odds, and it looks like we’ll get a 6-man tag match.
