First Round Tournament Match
Adam Rose & Sami Zayn vs. Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel
The fans do the Adam Rose chant, and it annoys Tyson Kidd and gets in his head. Kidd and Gabriel end up working over Rose for the first half the match with quick tags, isolating him from his partner. Rose with an Irish whip to the corner, and a huge Spinebuster on Gabriel for a two-count. He tries to make the tag to Zayn, but Tyson runs in and stops him. After a commercial, the heels are still all over Adam Rose. Kidd tags in and chokes him in the ropes, then Gabriel does the same, making sure to frustrate the referee in the process. Once again Rose almost gets a hot tag, but once again he’s double teamed. Finally, at about the 115th attempt, Sami makes the hot tag for his team and flies to the outside, taking out both his opponents through the ropes. Rose comes off the top turnbuckle, crashing to the outside with a senton splash. He rolls Gabriel back into the ring and Sami nails him with the Helluva Kick for the win.

-Just to recap, the team of Adam Rose and Sami Zayn has moved on to the second round, as will Big Cass and Enzo Amore. The third and fourth match in the first round will take place next week, with the finals happening at NXT Takeover 2.
