The match goes to singles match rules now, since Aries and Sanada remain, and Aries shoves Sanada off the ropes and takes him down with a suicide dive. Aries applies Last Chancery but Sanada gets to the ropes, then Aries stomps him and tries to suplex him inside from the apron. Sanada blocks it and knocks him down with a springboard forearm, then Sanada goes for a near fall before climbing the turnbuckles. Aries blocks a moonsault and goes for a kneebreaker, but Sanada reverses it with a Tiger suplex for two. Sanada goes for a moonsault but Aries avoids it and hits a discus forearm, then he follows with an IED and Brainbuster for the win. James Storm attacks Sanada backstage and calls him a loser, then he hits him several more times and calls Muta a fraud.

BP: Aries impresses in going wire to wire. I think the X Division is in a good position right now with several different characters and fighting styles. On another note though, TNA, this is not a gauntlet match, this was a battle royal / Royal Rumble match.
Bobby Roode & Eric Young vs Kenny King & MVP
Roode attacks King and sends him into the corner, but King catches him with a kick to the head before MVP calls for the tag. He tries to sucker punch Roode but gets caught, then MVP bails and says he can’t fight because of his knee. He regroups with King and hits Roode from behind, then Eric tries to run MVP off but King snaps his head on the ropes. MVP kneedrops Eric and taunts Roode, then he flapjacks Eric and King follows with a kneedrop for two. Roode finally gets the tag off of a miscue, and he takes King down with some strikes and a spinebuster, then catches MVP in a Crossface. King kicks him in the head to break it up, then Eric knocks King outside as MVP hits Roode over the back with his crutch. He chokes Roode with it as the ref disqualifies him, then Eric takes it from him but King runs in and hits Eric with another crutch. They choke Eric and Roode with the crutches and stomp them, then MVP taunts them before leaving.

Brittany vs Madison Rayne
Brittany kicks Madison into the apron a few times, then she rolls her in and suplexes her before taking her down with a shoulder tackle. Brittany throws Madison through the ropes, then she goes for a clothesline but Madison ducks and hits some forearm shots and gets a near fall. Brittany shoves her in the corner and kicks her in the face, but Madison catches her with a cradle DDT for the win.
