Barrett was injured last week at WWE’s Smackdown television taping prior to the Money in the Bank PPV. It is unknown how long he will be out of action at this point, and Barrett has not himself given any update on the matter. The average recovery time for a clavicle resection alone is around two months with consistent rehabilitation, but depending on how serious the torn ligaments in his shoulder were, it could be much longer than that. Obviously the former champ will not be in action for this year’s SummerSlam PPV.
