Damien Sandow vs. Dolph Ziggler
Sandow goes on the attack immediately with crazy rights and lefts. He hits a neckbreaker and drops into a side headlock to control the pace of the match. Dolph gets in a couple of shots, but Sandow responds by attacking him in the corner until the referee has to pull him away. Ziggler flies out of the corner with a clothesline, followed by a series of mounted punches on the second turnbuckle, and a running neckbreaker for a count of two.
Sandow gets a roll-up with a handful of tights, but Dolph kicks out. He looks to be going for a Sharpshooter, but modifies it into a standing submission. Ziggler gets to the ropes forcing the break, and hits the Zig-Zag on a frustrated Sandow. 1…2…3.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
KILLAM: Good story-telling from two good mid-card guys who are both drastically under-utilized. Sandow showed a new sign of intensity and physicality. I think they are breaking him down to build him back up right now with all these losses. Meanwhile, Ziggler's got two solid wins in two nights, so that's something. Side note – Sheamus looks good with the US title around his waist.
-Footage of the rivalry between Evolution and The Shield. We're getting the rematch at WWE Payback, and I expect some sort of stipulation and gimmick to be attached.
