-Bailey says that she's following in the footsteps of her idols, like John Cena and Paige. Sasha Banks she's going to knock Bailey's ponytail straight.
NXT Women's Championship Tournament
Bailey vs. Sasha Banks (w/ Charlotte)
Bailey jumps out of the corner with a nice armdrag takedown. She backs Sasha into the corner with…a hug? Bailey starts slapping the heck out of her opponent, and hits a suplex for a two-count. Sasha fights back with a few slaps, but Bailey sends her flying with a big back body drop.
The crowd is chanting for Daniel Bryan, for no reason whatsoever.
Bailey with a series of clotheslines, followed by the Belly-to-Bailey suplex, but Banks rolls into the ropes to avoid getting pinned. Sasha drops Bailey down on the top rope, then hits a neckbreaker for a very close two-count. Banks is pissed off that her finisher didn't get the win, so she hits a backstabber transition into a crossface for the submission victory.
Winner: Sasha Banks
KILLAM: Not a bad match for the two NXT Divas I'm not super exciting about at this point. Sasha had an excellent finisher combo here, which is more actual wrestling than I've ever seen her do. Generally her moveset is 95% slaps, kicks and hair pulling. Banks will face either Natalya or Layla in the second round.
