Wrestling Superstar Ray Lloyd Teams Up With Rose Casting

(Tampa, FL) April 14, 2014– Wrestling Superstar Ray Lloyd of Paradym Group will be working with Rose Casting to host a series of on camera acting workshops in Orlando. Rose Casting is pleased to have such an experienced actor joining forces on the Orlando Acting Classes with them.

Actors in and around the Orlando area will have the opportunity to work with Lloyd, who recently joined forces with Rose Casting. He is best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling in the late 1990’s under the ring name Glacier.

The classes include students being given scripts to perform which are videotaped and reviewed for critiquing and feedback. This will ensure that each student is given the chance to improve on their talents and reach their goals.

Shannon Rose, founder of Rose Casting, has over 20 years of experience as a professional actor, public speaker and talent coach. He has casted commercial talent for companies like Home Shopping Network, Publix and Innisbrook Golf Resort and Brighthouse along with full length movie productions. Shannon is very pleased to be working with Ray Lloyd and the company Paradym Group. “I am very excited about our venture together and know that we will be extremely successful in giving back to those who have a passion for acting. I am thrilled to be involved in helping others achieve their dreams.”

About Ray Lloyd

Ray Lloyd is an American martial artist, professional wrestler, and actor. He is best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling in the late 1990’s under the ring name Glacier. Ray is also known for his roles in Loaded Dice, River of Darkness, Blood Bath and he recently had guest starring roles on the hit TV series "Burn Notice" and Tyler Perry's "Meet the Browns". Ray Lloyd was born in Brunswick, Georgia. He stated, “I am thrilled to be working with Rose Casting. Shannon Rose is such a professional and driven actor and teacher. I know that with us joining together we can allow our learning experiences from the past and present direct other actors to be the best that they can possibly be.”

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.

Inspiration in his life has come from many people including his family, Woody Allen, Steven Spielberg, Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, and of course, Lassie.
