New Age Outlaws Update
It appears The New Age Outlaws are done as far as TV goes — at least, for a while.
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the former WWE Tag Team Champions will not be returning to in-ring action anytime soon, and WrestleMania 30 was the blow-off to their recent run.
Road Dogg and Billy Gunn both have full-time positions with WWE outside of the recent run they had on television, meaning they've been pulling double duty for months. Road Dogg works as an agent for the live shows and events while Gunn trains at the WWE Performance Center and NXT.
The Outlaws ended up being pulled from the tag team title picture pretty quickly after dropping the titles to The Usos. While many initially expected for them to be involved in the multi-team match at WrestleMania 30, the decision was made to pull them from that match and pair them with Kane against The Shield.
Their loss to The Shield, plus Gunn's injury (that was legit, but certainly played up on WWE.com more than was necessary), indicates the duo is most likely done as active wrestlers. They will continue working in their regular positions though going forward.
