Nash talks about being green in the business, and Scott drawing money with him after working with guys like Shawn Michaels. He talks about his “brothers” in the business – HBK who got him into the business, and Scott Hall who kept him there. He says he thought Shawn’s induction would be the most emotional for him, but this beats that out.
Out comes Scott Hall in a white suit, looking absolutely incredible. Of course he opens his speech with “hey yo”. Scott says he went to his first wrestling event at 10-years-old and fell in love, then fell in love again ten years later with his first match.
“In my lifetime I’ve learned that hard work pays off, and dreams come true. Bad times don’t last, but bad guys do.”
Triple H, Shawn Michaels, X-Pac and Kevin Nash all come out together and throw up the Kliq sign with the Bad Guy.
KILLAM: Short but sweet. I think they wanted to avoid Scott doing pretty much the same speech as Jake Roberts, who is a much more natural story-teller. Great moment with The Kliq.
