In what might be the coolest promotional wrestling video ever in the history of the universe (although this one is classic), Jake Roberts and Scott Hall released a teaser for their self-hosted WrestleMania 30 party. The duo can still work a crowd as they "play" a sweet blues tune in unison to promote the April 4th event at, appropriately, the House of Blues in New Orleans.
The Snake in shades picks a mean six-string, while The Bad Guy airs out a mouth-full of steel bliss before delivering his classic "Hey yo…" toward the end. Did I mention Roberts was barefoot?
"No telling who'll show up," Roberts adds, meaning this could end up being a star-studded event before it's all said and done. At least, many wrestling fans would certainly hope so as tickets, available at TicketMaster.com, start at a staggering $137 for General Admission (and no, that doesn't include a complimentary real-life snake like you would expect). Oh, and VIP tickets are $512 each. Yep…
The "Night With Wrestling Legends" event will be taking pace from 8pm to midnight, local time, at the House of Blues — the same place hosting Jim Ross' one-man show just one night before. Hall and Roberts will be telling stories from their career, plus there will be a Q&A for those in attendance.
