Konnan Rips TNA & Dixie Carter Once Again
Former WCW and TNA star Konnan appeared on the Joe Cronin Show yesterday, and spoke out on TNA and President Dixie Carter. Konnan once again said he thinks Carter has no idea what she's doing and that TNA should have hire Paul Heyman when the company had the opportunity. Konnan had the following to say:
"[TNA] would still be number two even if there was no WWE. That f—ing show really sucks. You should see it now, they have the owner, Dixie Carter, and some j-ckoff [named] Potato Spuds or whatever his name is. They are like the worst thing on TV since the Aces & 8's."
Fandango Talks CM Punk, PG Era in WWE
In a new interrview conducted for Digital Spy, WWE star Fandango had the following to say regarding CM Punk's WWE status and the PG era vs the Attitude Era in WWE:
The PG Era vs The Attitude Era:
"I think it's more rewarding to know that we can go out and put on a good show without going lowbrow and taking the easy road. Whether it's the middle finger, or cursing, because that's going to get a reaction no matter what. It's harder to get a reaction the honest way and that's just pure entertainment. That's from an 8-year-old kid to an 80-year-old woman. I think chair shots and middle fingers and swearing and girls with their tops off is an easy reaction. I think the way we do it now is a lot more rewarding, for sure."
Will Punk Return Before 'Mania?:
"With the WWE you never know who's going to come back at any time. Whether it's The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho. Every week you tune in there could be a surprise. I really can't tell you there, but I'm always excited to turn on WWE with the chance of someone coming back. So you never know."
