This week on Impact Wrestling, The Wolves – Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards – made their in-ring debut for TNA. In a six-man tag team match, The Wolves found a partner in the "Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe, and steamrolled through the TNA World Tag Team Champions Jessie Godderz and Robbie E, as well as their partner Zema Ion. With a big win over the champs, have the newcomers put themselves in line for a shot at the titles?
Gunner also made a big Impact this week (pun intended), announcing to Magnus that next week he will cash in his "Feast or Fired" briefcase for a shot at the strap. Team Dixie had other plans however, as the TNA President put his contract on the line against her nephew Ethan Carter III. However, new investor MVP came out and announced that both the World Title and Tag Title briefcases would be hung above the ring – this contest turned into a ladder match that involved both Magnus and James Storm. Gunner was able to climb the ladder after a hard-fought match, retaining his shot at the title and earning himself and "The Cowboy" an opportunity at the BroMans in the near future.
A new challenger approaches in the Knockouts division, as the freakishly strong Alpha Female made her debut on Impact Wrestling. The 6-foot monstress saved X-Division star Chris Sabin from a beating at the hands of ex-girlfriend Velvet Sky. What does Alpha Female want? Will she go after the Knockouts Championship, or will she continue to bodyguard the cowardly Sabin?
In this week's main event, Bully Ray and Ken Anderson took their rivalry to a new, more brutal and personal level, as the two fought to put each other in a coffin. Before the match, Bully stole Anderson's phone, called his wife and children, and told them "goodbye from dad", promising to send him home in a box. The two fought a war that included a powerbomb through a table, an attempted Piledriver, blood and steel chairs. At the last second, Anderson recovered, hitting a Mic Check through the coffin and winning the match in the process.
MVP and Dixie Carter also announced a major main event for their annual Lockdown pay-per-view. Check out our feature story on the match now!
