CM Punk comes out and says he's had his ups and downs, starting the year as WWE Champion, and he lost some friends, but he can't call it his year. He says The Shield might call it their year because they've been unstoppable, but he wants to start 2014 right, and he has a proposition for them. The Shield cuts him off and Ambrose tells him to finish that thought, because he needs a good reason why they don't end him right now. Punk says three of them can beat anyone, but he wants the best in a one-on-one match, and Ambrose says they can do this again. Punk says he's talking to the others because he already beat him, and he thinks Ambrose is the weak link, so Rollins steps up and says it's him. Reigns takes exception and Rollins says he didn't mean anything by it, then Rollins says he wants to prove himself and Reigns says he's good with it. Brad Maddox comes out and makes the match official, and tells a referee to get out there because it's starting now.

CM Punk vs Seth Rollins (w/ The Shield)

Punk goes for an early GTS but Rollins regroups on the floor, then we get back to see Rollins whip Punk into the corner, but Punk counters with an octopus hold. Punk throws a few forearm shots and gets Rollins with a few rollups, then he heads up top but Rollins throws Punk outside and into the barricade. Rollins misses a senton and Punk responds with a heel kick, then he goes for a neckbreaker and a GTS before getting a near fall. Rollins counters a corner knee with a turnbuckle powerbomb for two, then he connects with an enziguiri before mocking Punk's GTS taunt. He lifts Punk for a GTS but Punk knees him near the ropes, then follows with a clothesline and sets up a top rope elbow.

Rollins rolls away and drop toe holds him into the turnbuckles, then he heads up top but Punk crotches him on the ropes and goes for a superplex. Rollins shoves him away and hits a crossbody, but Punk rolls through into an Anaconda Vise, which Punk breaks when Ambrose jumps on the apron. Punk goes back after Rollins and sets up a GTS but Rollins counters with a neckbreaker for two, the count delayed by Ambrose distracting the ref on the apron. Rollins yells at him but Punk throws him onto the floor, then he goes for a suicide dive but Rollins forearms him in the face, then he tries to springboard in but Punk counters with a GTS for the win.
