Styles/American Wolves 2014 Dates
Dreamwave Wrestling out of Illinois has announced "current reigning TNA Champion AJ Styles" and the American Wolves Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards for a show on February 1st, 2014.
Davey Richards has pulled out of multiple independent bookings recently, and while the actual reason behind that has been speculated on by multiple sources, he and Eddie are currently working a short term try-out deal with WWE NXT. No word on when that will expire, although Edwards will still be appearing at next week's Ring of Honor Final Battle event, so it would appear that they are able to A) finish up dates they have already committed to working, and B) will not be wrestling in NXT by February, unless things change.
As for AJ Styles, his story gets a little more convoluted.

AJ Styles has been working different shows outside of TNA to promote his angle as the "real World Champion" who took the title and left the company after his victory at Bound for Glory. However, Impact Wrestling is taping their episodes over a month in advance now, and Styles was booked to drop the title to Magnus in an Undisputed Championship match which will air in January. He also played up like he would be done working in TNA after that match, although it remains to be seen how much of that was purely part of the ongoing angle with Dixie Carter.
By the time this independent appearance rolls around in February, Styles will not have been TNA World Champion for almost a full month. AJ is in this weird time period now where he can still travel to other promotions to defend the title, and can continue to do so through January 2014, although technically he is no longer a world champion.
