Orton says HHH might not want to hear it, but it's the truth, and it's why HHH picked him as face of WWE, and it's why he'll beat Cena for both titles. Orton says the fans hate Cena just like him, then Orton says he knows exactly who Cena is and he's beaten him in the past. He says there's a reason he's called the Apex Predator, then Cena tells him to shut up because they are sick of what he has been saying. Cena says HHH wanted Orton to be a success but Orton never lived up to potential, and it's Orton's fault because he got cocky and lazy. He says he's never been asked to be the face of anything, but he shows up first and leaves last while Orton tries to get by on his name. Cena says he earned his title when Orton has his handed to him, and if Orton wants to win anything from him he is going to have to earn it.
Cena says he's OK just being him, then he says Orton can make a move or leave, but he'll remind them of what a TLC match looks like if Orton tests him. Cena asks if Orton is going to step up or step aside, then Orton flips the table at Cena and takes him to the mat. They brawl on the floor but Cena hits him with a ladder, then Orton whips him into the ringpost and takes apart the commentary table. Cena hits him with a chair a few times, then he hits Orton with the mic and slams his face off the steps before throwing him back in the ring. Orton throws a ladder at Cena's face, then he hits Cena with a chair in the back and chest before he starts to clear the ring out. Orton sets up a table but Cena punches him a few times, then he throws Orton into a table in the corner before he hits an Attitude Adjustment through another one.
