More Impact Zone Events
TNA has added three more Impact Wrestling taping events to their schedule, as they have December 3-5 booked at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. TNA recently taped four episodes of Impact Wrestling, one of which has already aired, with the other three taking the company through December 12th.
A Final Resolution television special was announced for December 19th, and with the TNA Genesis TV special in 2014 being live and on the road, many had thought that with the TNA World Heavyweight Championship likely being decided soon, any new specials would be at least be live. However, with the final tournament match set for Final Resolution, and TNA taping at least three episodes of television in early December, that does not appear to be the case.
Should TNA tape two episodes in December, they will need to schedule another taping event prior to Genesis, for January 2nd and 9th. However, the most likely scenario is that they will tape four episodes of Impact Wrestling between December 3rd and 5th, which will bring the product current until Genesis on January 16th, giving the roster time to rest up over the holiday season, and prepare for the 2014 UK Tour.
Styles to Return at Genesis?
So far two matches have been announced for TNA Final Resolution on December 19th: 1) Kurt Angle vs. Bobby Roode in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match, and the finals of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship tournament.
One final note is that if TNA has any plans to bring back AJ Styles this year, as he would likely clash with whoever they crown champion at Final Resolution, his major return will most likely be pre-recorded. This means you can probably pencil in Styles' return to Impact Wrestling at Genesis.
