Update on Prince Devitt Possibly Heading to WWE
In an update to a developing story, no formal deal has been offered to international talent Prince Devitt by WWE, and the two sides have been merely talking.
Most people close to the situation expect Devitt to remain in Japan at least for the next year, and while his NJPW contract expires on January 31st, it's likely he will remain with the company.
The Very Latest on a Potential TNA Wrestling Sale
With regards to the talk of a potential TNA sale, it's being reported at this time that one of the groups potentially interested in buying the company has dropped out of the running, however one of the principal groups interested in the sale is still in the hunt.
The feeling is the sale has cold since there has been no real news or movement on the subject in quite sometime, however the leading group interested in buying TNA is still reportedly optimistic about the deal and is seeking complete ownership.
There was talk at one point of the Carter family wanting to raise capital by selling a part of TNA but remaining majority owners, but it's being said the party interested in purchasing the company is seeking complete ownership. If the sale does go through, it could mean Jeff Jarrett will be given more power in the company, as it's likely he is brokering the deal moving forward.
