Chris Benoit a No-Go
Earlier this month, WrestlingDVDNews.com put out new details on an upcoming WWE DVD/Blu-ray package entitled "Shawn Michaels: Mr. WrestleMania". We had previously reported, under the assumption that all 17 of HBK''s WrestleMania matches would be included, that the triple threat championship match at WrestleMania 22 would be among them, marking the in-ring return of Chris Benoit to WWE DVD. However, it looks like the World Heavyweight Championship contest that saw Benoit winning his first ever world title will, in fact, not be included in the collection.
The Shield Celebrates Anniversary
Today, The Shield celebrates its one year anniversary as WWE's most dominant faction. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose made their debut at Survivor Series 2012 on November 18th, attacking Ryback and John Cena during a triple threat match for CM Punk's WWE Championship.
