John Cena and CM Punk Reportedly Injured During Tonight’s WWE Live Event in Leeds, England

John Cena According to a live report posted over at F4WOnline.com, CM Punk appeared to have suffered some type of injury in a match that saw him team with Daniel Bryan against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.

When the match was over, which saw Punk and Bryan get the win, CM Punk stayed down in the ring and was checked on by both Daniel Bryan and the referee. Punk finally made it to his feet, and appeared ok as he exited the ring about 2 minutes before Bryan did, as Bryan was celebrating with fans.

The report notes the CM Punk injury was confirmed to be legit, but it appears as if it's not serious enough that he will miss any ring time.

Additionally, John Cena appeared to have tweaked his leg during his main event match against Alberto Del Rio, but the injury might have been a part of the match story line. We reported earlier today that Cena is indeed working through quite a bit of pain on the current tour, so it's possible tonight's injury was legit.

Nick was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and lived there until the age of 18, when he decided to pack his flack jacket and move to New York City.

Nick attended New York University and graduated in 2001 with a degree in Drama.

Nick first entered the internet wrestling community back in 2004 when he became the co-host of The Voice of Wrestling Radio Show. From there, Nick made the transition from radio personality to editor when he began working with WrestleZone in 2008.

Nick is a member of two Off-Broadway theatre companies, Another Urban Riff, and the Drama Desk Award winning Godlight Theatre Company. Nick has appeared in over a dozen Off-Broadway plays since he moved to New York City, and has shot several short and feature length films. In 2010, he completed principle photography on a film titled "How to Score Your Life," which also features TNA Knockout ODB.
