Jay Briscoe has either signed a new contract with Ring of Honor, or is working with the company on a short-term basis, as he appeared at Friday's Death Before Dishonor iPPV to surrender the ROH World Championship, and also began an angle at Saturday's television taping.
Speaking of the ROH TV taping, it was announced on Saturday that one of the big matches for October's Glory by Honor event will be an 8-man tag team match, featuring all four of the company's champions. They will face off against four top contenders, and if any of the challengers are able to score a fall over a champion, they will become the #1 contender to that respective title. So far, former world champion Jay Briscoe, and Michael Elgin have been named as challengers. The current ROH champions include Adam Cole, Matt Taven, Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish.
