Before tonight’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view, take a look at some of our other segments with one of the more recognizable icons in SummerSlam history.
Part 1: Wrestlezone Reader Q&A
Part 2: Exclusive interview on “Wrestling with the Devil” and his road to recovery.
Part 3: Luger’s thoughts on TNA troubles, Sting and more.
JOHN CENA: “Tremendous. Great physique. Great representative with the WWE – I love what he does with the troops and the charities. I greatly admire what he’s done with his career.
THE UNDERTAKER: “What an icon. I think maybe Sting, Hogan – there’s a few names, and he’s right up there with them, for longevity and staying over. Main event status his entire career; he doesn’t take a backseat to anybody. Just an incredible career.”
CM PUNK: “I don’t know a lot about him. He’s entertaining – a really good worker in the ring. Other than that I haven’t watched him a lot.”
ERIC BISCHOFF: “He’s done a lot in wrestling. The leader and the brain trust – the main guy behind the success of WCW and the Monday Night Wars. He’s always been a great guy to me personally, and treated me very well. I have nothing but good things to say about Eric.”
BRET HART: “Bret is one of my favorite guys in wrestling. We had a great friendship outside of the ring. I talk in the book about our special coffee connection. He got me hooked on Starbucks, even now 25 years later. We always had a great connection in the ring when we had our matches; even in the Royal Rumble when we were able to pull off simultaniously just like they wanted us to.”
DIXIE CARTER: “I don’t know her well, but every time I’ve been around her she’s been a class act. She seems to really love the business and loves the guys.”
