Daniel Bryan vs John Cena (c)
Bryan applies an armbar and takes Cena to the mat, then they stand and face off before Cena acknowledges the ‘you can’t wrestle’ chants and asks for a test of strength. Cena sweeps Bryan’s legs and tries to pin him, then Bryan bridges up but Cena flips on top of him, so Bryan monkey flips him and goes for the Yes Lock. Cena rolls outside and talks to the ringside doctor, then Cena gets back in and applies a side headlock, but Bryan whips him into the ropes and goes for a backslide pin attempt. Cena kicks out and Bryan goes for a deathlock, but Cena kicks him back and goes for an Attitude Adjustment but Bryan grabs the ropes. Cena hits a shoulder block that sends Bryan into the broadcast table, then Cena goes outside but Bryan whips him into the steps.
Bryan tries to suplex Cena off of the steps but Cena reverses it, then he rolls Bryan in and punches him before whipping him across the ring. Cena hits a powerbomb for two, then he applies a side headlock but Bryan fights out and repeatedly kicks Cena in the corner, only to have Cena knee him in the ribs. Cena whips him but Bryan comes back with a diving clothesline, then he kicks Cena in the chest a few times before Cena ducks and hits a shoulder tackle. He hits a sitout side slam and goes for a Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Bryan kicks him in the face and they trade off on some counters. Cena finally hits a side slam and a Five Knuckle Shuffle, then he goes for an AA but Bryan lands on his feet and dropkicks him.
Bryan goes up top and hits a missile dropkick for two, then he kicks Cena’s arm and tells him to get up as he continues to target the injured elbow. Bryan snaps Cena’s arm over his shoulder, then he continues to kick him and lifts him up, then Cena goes for a STF but Bryan counters with his own STF. He pulls back and tries to get Cena to tap, but Cena makes it to his feet so Bryan hits a suplex for two before hitting a German suplex for another fall. Bryan goes for another but Cena counters with an AA attempt, then Bryan counters with the Yes Lock and fights for a submission. Cena counters and makes it to his feet, but Bryan puts him in guillotine choke with a bodyscissors, then Cena fights to break it and sends Bryan into the turnbuckles. (Cont’d…)
