Cena jumps up and hits a surprise AA but Bryan kicks out, then Cena heads up top but Bryan meets him with a right hand and a running elbow. Cena shoves him back but Bryan runs right back at him, and he dropkicks him before headbutting him a few times and taking him down with a release superplex. Bryan holds onto the turnbuckles and pulls himself back up, then he hits a diving headbutt for two before Cena rolls outside to recover. Bryan gets a running start and goes for a suicide dive, but Cena sees it coming and hits a midair shoulder tackle before hitting a top rope legdrop for two. Cena lifts Bryan and sets him on the turnbuckles, then he sets up a super Attitude Adjustment but Bryan repeatedly elbows him and goes for a hurricanrana.
Cena blocks it and slams him on his head, then Cena puts him in a STF but Bryan tries to escape so Cena rolls on his back and tries to choke him out. Bryan reverses and puts him in the Yes Lock, then Cena reaches the ropes and HHH checks on him but Cena waves him off. Bryan hits two running dropkicks and sets up a third, but Cena drops him with a hard clothesline, then they trade several punches before they hit the ropes and collide midair. They both get up and slap each other several times, then Bryan kicks Cena a few times before Cena whips him across the ring. Bryan runs up the turnbuckles and Cena catches him, then he goes for an AA but Bryan counters with a tornado DDT and heads up top. Bryan goes for a crossbody but Cena catches him and goes for an AA, but Bryan counters with a near fall rollup before he kicks Cena in the head and hits a running knee for the win.
Winner and NEW WWE Champion – Daniel Bryan
Bryan starts to celebrate but Cena spins him around and has some words with him, then he asks for a handshake and Bryan gladly does it. Cena says something to HHH before leaving, then HHH congratulates Bryan as the fireworks go off but it is short lived as Randy Orton makes his way out. Bryan calls for him to get in the ring and waits to defend himself, but Orton turns and starts to leave, and HHH shocks everyone and drops Bryan with a Pedigree. Orton heads back to the ring and hands HHH the briefcase, then HHH rings the bell and counts the pin as Orton makes the cover.
