AJ Styles made a highly anticipated babyface turn on the pre-taped edition of Impact Wrestling for August 22nd. He teamed up with Sting, Rampage Jackson, Magnus and Samoa Joe to defeat the Aces & Eights in the main event.
Devon was the Aces & Eights member who took the pin the the 10-man tag team match. As a result, he must now leave TNA Wrestling for good. Considering none of the Aces & Eights members actually started out with contracts in the first place, it wouldn't be outside of the realm of possibility to keep him on television moving forward.
After losing the match, Devon took off his Aces & Eights's jacket and took a moment to soak in the applause from the audience, appreciating him for his long, storied wrestling career.
