One of the last minute rumors going around is that TNA could bring in UFC Hall of Famer Tito Ortiz as the big #August1Reveal tonight on Impact Wrestling. The former light heavyweight champion was recently named by Bellator MMA fighter and current Main Event Mafia star Rampage Jackson, and the two will collide at Bellator's pay-per-view debut later this year.
Ortiz would certainly fit the non-Spike, non-TNA image that the mystery man behind these promos has been alluding to. However, just hours before Impact Wrestling goes live from Wichita Falls, TX Tito posted on Twitter that he had returned home to his place in Huntington Beach, CA. It is possible that TNA asked Ortiz to misdirect his fans on social media, however we will know for certain soon, as Impact Wrestling is live tonight at 9PM ET.
