5/16 TNA Impact Wrestling Results – Sting & Bully Ray Sign World Heavyweight Title Contract for Slammiversary

Hernandez vs. Chris Daniels

Daniels tries to lift up Supermex, but he can't get the big man off his feet. Hernandez hoists up his opponent with a delayed vertical suplex, followed by a running power slam. He leaves the ring and walks up the entrance ramp, sprinting down to the ring and launching over the ropes for Air Mexico. Daniels pulls the ropes down and sends the big man to the outside, as he's attacked by Kazarian. Hernandez shakes off Kaz and hits the apron, taking down Daniels with a big flying shoulder block. Kaz stops Daneils from getting squashed by a flying splash, and James Storm makes his way down to watch the match. Kazarian runs out of the way, and Daniels eats a shoulder block from Supermex for a 3-count.

Winner: Hernandez

James Storm announces that there's going to be a World Tag Team title match, as Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez defend the belts in a 3-way against Bad Influence, Bobby Roode and Austin Aries. However…there's more. James Storm gets to choose his own partner, and the match is now a 4-way at Slammiversary.
