Thanks to Dave Howarth for sending this in:
I've just got home from the Smackdown taping at the O2, London and just wanted to correct your What Happened After Smackdown story – the Dean Ambrose v Undertaker match was being advertised in graphics throughout the show so looks like that will be the main televised event. The Shield beat Taker down, put him through the announce table, and NAO & Triple H came out to clear house, helping Taker back.. Looks like the cameras stopped rolling after the table, as there was some dead time with the Shield celebrating and taunting.
After Taker had been taken to the back Fandango reappeared without the dancer, came to the ring, took a bow and left. All very odd, but not as odd as the London Underground reverberating with his damn theme all the way home.
All in all two great shows from London (Raw & Smackdown) – I've been the last 4 years and these were by far the best. Felt like WWE was doing its best to put on a special show, with decent length matches and big name surprises.
The crowd was hot as hell, particularly on Monday night, with my favourite chant being "DI-A-GRAMS". Also completely packed on Monday, with about a third of the upper tier taped off for Smackdown. Still a big, loud crowd, especially when NAO appeared. Also – even though he was on early, Del Rio was very over as a face with the London crowd!
