Kurt Angle, backstage, says that his match tonight is the most important match he's had in a year and a half, because that's how long it's been since he's been the champion.
Matt Morgan vs. Joseph Park
Morgan bullies Park around the ring, shoving him up against the turnbuckles and making him cower in fear. Park digs down and shoves "the Blueprint", but gets thrown to the mat with ease for his trouble. Morgan connects with a back elbow in the corner, followed by a clotheslines to the back of his opponent. He goes for a splash in the corner, but Joe ducks out of the way and fires back with rights and lefts to the gut. Morgan comes out of nowhere with a clothesline and then slaps on a modified surfboard stretch with Park caught up in the ropes.
Morgan tries for the Carbon Footprint, but Park moves out of the way and the big man gets crotched up on the top rope. Park moves the ropes and makes things quite uncomfortable for Morgan, throwing him off and following up with more body blows. He heads up to the second rope with a bunch of momentum from the crowd, but Morgan moves out of the way and plants him with the Carbon Footprint. 1-2-3.
Results: Matt Morgan wins via pinfall
A camera guy catches up with Jeff Hardy and asks him what it would mean to get his hands on Bully Ray. Hardy says it means everything, and he wants the World Title back, but getting the job done is more important than him. That's why he wanted the 4-way match, so that in case he's not ready to step up, there are three other guys who have his back.
