Ryback vs Heath Slater
Slater punches Ryback a few times but Ryback shoves him back and hits a spinebuster, then he connects with a Meathook clothesline before knocking Drew off the apron. Ryback pulls Jinder in the ring and throws him into Drew, then they both fall to the floor as Ryback drops Slater with Shell Shocked to pick up the win. Ryback gets a mic and says his job is fun, but this will be his first Royal Rumble and it's a match he is built for. Ryback says he is going to thrive on Sunday, and winning the Rumble will lead him to Wrestlemania, so it's time to feed him more.
Winner – Ryback
We cut to The Rock trying to get in the building by reasoning with the cops, and he says they are serving and protecting the people, not Vickie Guerrero. Rock says it's about the hard working people trying to see him, then the fans inside chant his name and he says the cops know what he means. One of the cops says he doesn't want to be here either because he had tickets to the show, and his wife and kids are watching inside without him. Rock tries to bargain with him but Vickie Guerrero comes out and says they can arrest him now, but the cops say he hasn't done anything wrong. Vickie says Rock can come in if he apologizes, but Rock says he will get inside on his terms, and she still looks horrible tonight, biatch!
CM Punk comes out with Paul Heyman and holds up his title, and he says this is his life's work, and he has proven he is the man for over 400 days. He says he won't allow The Rock or anyone to take this prestigious title from him, and Rock is there to sing songs but he's there to win. Punk says he made the title important, but the people make it mediocre with their signs and chants, and the Rock is proud of just being the People's Champion. Punk says he was forced to make a choice between hypocrisy and arrogant truth, and Rock chose the people but Punk earned his title. He says he earned the right to be the man, and this is what Rock is on a collision course with, so he hopes Rock enjoys the people's admiration for six more days. Punk says he realized the people don't matter, and the people can't help Rock on Sunday so the title is staying around the waist of the best in the world.
