JB is backstage and introduces us to his guest at this time, Christopher Daniels. Daniels says the fact that he’s faced AJ more than anybody else isn’t hyperbole, it’s a fact. Saying they’ve wrestled all around the world isn’t hyperbole, it’s just a fact. He brings up World Title matches, the Ultimate X and Ironman battles, but says that was all a prologue to tonight’s war. He says history is written by the winners, and tonight they make history.
(3) TNA World Tag Team Championship Match
Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez (c) vs. Matt Morgan & Joey Ryan
Chavo Guerrero starts this match off against Joey Ryan, and he immediately grounds him with the mat game. Chavo gets a tag to Hernandez who bullies Ryan by throwing him around the ring. Chavo back in but Ryan gets the tag to big Matt Morgan. Chavo thinks better of this exchange, and tags in his partner.
Morgan and Hernandez stare each other down as the crowd eats up the tension between the two. The trade exchanges coming off the ropes, trying to knock each other down. Morgan tells Hernandez to do it again, but nails him with a big clothesline. In comes Joey Ryan, but he gets caught by Supermex and held in a delayed vertical suplex for a good twenty seconds! In comes Chavo Guerrero off the tag, and gets a back suplex for two. Matt Morgan palms Chavo’s head like a basketball and throws him straight into the top turnbuckle.
Ryan gets the tag out, and Morgan takes him picking apart Chavo Guerrero. A clothesline turns the champion inside-out, and Joey Ryan gets back into the match. Side headlock takes things back to the ground game, but Chavo gets free, only to run into another clothesline. Matt Morgan makes the tag chokes Chavo in the ropes until the referee forces him to break the hold. The heels keep up the pressure with quick tags, keeping Guerrero from making the tag.
Eventually the crowd wills Chavo back into the match, and he drops Joey Ryan with a hurricanrana, sending him flying into the second rope. Hot tag to Hernandez and he launches himself over the top rope for the shoulder tackle. He tries for the pin, but in comes big Matt Morgan. He takes suplexes Hernandez and throws Joey Ryan on top of him, but the champion kicks out. Joey Ryan tries to taunt his opponent, but Hernandes man-handles him. Matt Morgan back in yet again, but Chavo Guerrero off the top rope with a missile dropkick. Chavo hits the Frogsplash on Joey Ryan and goes for the pin, but Morgan pulls the referee to the outside, which causes a DQ.
Winners via DQ: Hernandez & Chavo Guerrero
After the match Chavo springboards to the outside, but gets caught in a carry by the Blueprint. He gets tossed into the ringpost and picked apart, but Supermex launches over the top rope and sends Morgan crashing back! Morgan bails with Joey Ryan, and Hernandez stands over Chavo and yells that this feud is not over.
