After the break, Kurt Angle is backstage with Wes Brisco and Garrett Bischoff. They all put each other over and say they've got each other's back. Kurt Angle says he's got DOC up next, and he's ready.
Chavo and Hernandez are backstage and they say they got the message. This Sunday they're going to bring the fight to Joey Ryan and Matt Morgan.
(3) Kurt Angle vs. D.O.C.
Angle brings the offense as soon as his opponent gets in the ring, backing DOC into the corner and stomping away at whatever he can hit. Angle pulls him out to the middle of the ring and keeps working over the ankle with stomps. DOC makes his way to his feet and clotheslines an approaching Kurt Angle, before stomping away a Angle methodically on the mat. The Impact Zone starts a "USA" chant…because they're the Impact Zone.
DOC takes Angle to the outside and hits a huge, painful looking uppercut. He throws him into the steel ring steps and continues working over his opponent. They roll back in the ring, but Angle lands a beautiful German suplex out of nowhere. A second German connects, but DOC gets out of the third and connects with a big boot. DOC goes for another boot, but Angle reverses and tries for the Ankle Lock. DOC gets out of it but eats another two German suplexes. On the third he gets a glancing low blow, but the referee didn't see it. He tries for the chokeslam, but Angle rolls it through into the Ankle Lock!
DOC rolls through it and sends Angle into the corner. He connects with the chokeslam. 1…2..but Angle kicks out before three! DOC gets frustrated because he can't put the Olympian away, and lands a big splash in the corner. The Aces & Eights hit the ring, but Angle gets an Angle Slam on DOC and chases off an attacker. They slowly surround the ring, but Joe, Brisco and Bischoff make the save. The Eights run away, and Kurt Angle finds himself a microphone. Angle says it's going to be the four of them against any four members of the Aces & Eights at Final Resolution! Oh it's real…it's damn real!
