WWE Legend on ESPN; Says His “Match Days Are Over”

FoleyWWE Legend Mick Foley was on ESPN with Joe Robinson to promote the upcoming WWE'13 game, and the two talked about the attitude era, his recent work with WWE Champion CM Punk, and more.

On the future of his wrestling career: I think my match days are over, but hopefully it will lead to something else. I think it’s always great to have the guys from different eras in there together. It works great for everybody.

On the next guy to "carry the company":  But then [CM Punk] gave that incredible promo and he changed the business. I’m not sure who has that type of promo in them. I really can’t give you an answer, but there are a lot of guys who are going to be vying for that spot. Daniel Bryan is going to come out of his tag team eventually with an even bigger head of steam as a singles wrestler. Then you have guys like Antonio Cesaro who can do it all and he’s finding his way as a character, so I think there’s no shortage of candidates.
