The UFC injury curse has struck again.
The leading MMA promotion recently confirmed reports that the Jose Aldo vs. Frankie Edgar title fight, as well as the Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Glover Teixeira fights have been canceled due to injury.
Both matches were scheduled as the main and co-main event for the UFC 153 pay-per-view on October 13 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Aldo and Rampage were injured and pulled out of their respective fights. As of this writing, no replacements have been announced to fight Edgar and Teixeira, who as of right now have no new opponents for the 10/13 event at the HSBC Arena.
