WWE RAW Results (8/20) – Y2J/Ziggler Rematch Raises The Stakes, CM Punk Names His Next Contender With Terms

Dolph spins away to break it then he goes for a Zig Zag, but Jericho holds the ropes and catches him with a bulldog. Jericho goes for a Lionsault but Dolph gets his knees up to block it, then he jumps up and hits a Zig Zag for the win. Jericho looks up at Dolph celebrating on the turnbuckles, then Jericho takes the briefcase from Vickie and stands behind Dolph in the ring. Vickie screams at Dolph to do something, then Dolph calls him a loser and Jericho slams the briefcase into his ribs. Jericho hits him one more time in the back, then he drops Dolph with a Codebreaker and says goodbye to the fans.

Winner – Dolph Ziggler

CM Punk comes out and says he was going to talk about his next title defense, but he remembered Jerry Lawler said he told a lie about him. He says Lawler said he turned his back on the fans, and he wants him to say he was wrong, but King says it wasn't mean spirited. Punk says he just wants to hear him say he was wrong, and he tells him to show him some respect and give him a simple apology. John Cena comes out and Punk says he was talking to King, but Cena had to come steal the spotlight and that is a good segway to his point. He says he's been taking a backseat to guys like Cena, Rock and HHH, and it was out of respect, but he is the WWE Champion and has been for nine months.

Punk says he's the main event no matter where he is on the card, and he's there to address beating Cena a year ago and last night, and it doesn't matter. He says he sees green hats and all the 'Cenation' gear, and he knows what he has to do now, and this is his condition. Punk says the fans will do whatever Cena says, and Cena can have his title shot as long as he admits that Punk is the best in the world. Punk tells Cena to tell the truth, then Cena says Punk is the champion so that means he hasn't been, and they may be asking why Cena is still on top. He says it's because of the relationship they have with the fans, and it's not about the word 'champion,' but it's about the respect Punk wants. (Cont'd…)
