Impact Wrestling Results (8/2) – New KO’s #1 Contender, Chavo’s In Ring Debut, Storm/Angle BFG Series

Zema rakes King's eyes and throws him in the corner, then Roode and Aries argue in front of the ref as we go to a commercial.Roode sends King to the floor as we get back, then Aries goes after Roode and argues with the ref about what happened. Roode grabs King and knees him in the head, then he rakes his back and stomps him in the corner. Aries and Roode continue to argue in front of the ref, but Roode tags out and Zema stomps on King's arm. King breaks a front facelock by throwing him backwards, then he hits a cradle suplex and finally gets the tag.

Roode jumps in and the ref stops him, and he says he didn't see Aries' legal tag so Roode and Zema continue to kick King in the corner. King makes a comeback and knocks Roode off the apron, then King hits an atomic drop and an enziguiri but Roode jumps in and breaks it up. Aries comes off the top rope with a missile dropkick, then Zema tries to hit him from behind but Aries knocks him down and runs across the ring. Aries hits Roode with a suicide floor dive, then King picks Zema up and he hits a fireman's carry spinout slam for the win.

Winners – Austin Aries & Kenny King

Sting says he is giving everybody the benefit of the doubt, but he is going to the ring and he is going to call someone out. He says he wants to get to the bottom of this Aces and Eights ordeal, and everyone will find out what's going on in a moment. Sting comes out to the ring and says he knows someone has an inside scoop about Aces and Eights, and he needs Storm to come meet him. Storm says he has everyone asking him the same questions, but he doesn't need any help because he can kick some ass on his own. Storm says he remembers Kurt Angle attacking him from behind, but ended up beating him three out of four times, and once it was for the World Championship. (Cont'd…)
