We head out to the ring for this week's Gut Check segment, and Jeremy Broash introduces the judges before bringing Joey Ryan to the ring. Joey asks if they know who they are standing in front of, and he says he is a big deal and he is trending on Twitter right now. JB asks Bruce what he thinks, and he says Joey has the look but Joey has been wrestling for twelve years. He says that helped with his vote and he votes no, then Al Snow says he doesn't like Joey because he is cocky. He says he acts like he has a job already, but he has potential to become a star and he will vote yes.
JB says Taz will decide his fate but they will give Joey one more chance, and Joey says it is irresponsible of Bruce to ignore the fans who voted for him. Joey says he trusts Taz and he knows he is money, and Taz knows you don't leave money laying around because someone will come pick him up. Taz says if that promo was supposed to help him he is dead wrong, then Joey says he isn't afraid of him and says he is just a commentator. Joey says he is getting in his face, and Taz says no, then Joey says he got it wrong but Taz says he didn't. Taz tells him to come back when he can get it done, and he needs to keep at it and training, but right now the answer is no.
