Rob Van Dam comes to the ring and says he knows they love him because he has entertained them over the years, and he knows he is a great wrestler. He says he is often imitated but not intimidated, and he is talking to them as the next world champion because he is going to beat Bobby Roode. RVD mentions the fact that he never lost his title and he knows what he brings to the table, then Roode comes out and says he sounds overconfident.
Roode says his head is usually in the clouds, but he wants to remind RVD who he is and says he is the 'it' factor and their champion. He says he is the most dominant champion because of his victories over guys like AJ Styles and James Storm, and RVD will be added to that list. Roode says they get to choose each other's opponents tonight, and he wants to know who RVD picked for him. RVD says is going to face Ken Anderson, and he says that's great but RVD is going to face his friend Jeff Hardy, and he wishes him luck.

Rob Terry (w/ Robbie E) vs Devon (c)
Terry rushes Devon at the bell and hits him in the corner, then he connects with a powerslam for a two count and waits for Devon to get back up. Devon gets an elbow up and hits a shoulder tackle, then he hits a clothesline and another shoulder tackle before going up top. He goes up top and hits a diving headbutt for another hear fall, then Robbie E gets involved and Devon hiptosses him in the ring. Robbie E tries to beg him off and Terry hits him from behind, then Terry whips him off the ropes but Devon counters with a spear. Devon gets up and moves towards Terry, but Robbie E smashes the clipboard over his head to cause a disqualification, then he holds the title up and screams at him.
