Impact Wrestling Results (4/26) – Open Fight Night, TNA Gut Check, Eric Bischoff’s Farewell

Dixie Carter is the next person to 'remember Eric Bischoff' and she says she will remember the lies and backstabbing, and how Eric tried to take her company away. Hulk Hogan is in his office with the tag title contenders and he asks them all for their thoughts about who is deserving of the title shot. Daniels says he doesn't want their friendship to influence his decision, but they are the best team and he proceeds to run down everyone else. Chris Sabin says they have been together the longest and they have won titles all over the world, and Hulk says he can get behind that.

He asks Ken Anderson if he can get along with Jeff Hardy, and he says of course he can and kisses Hardy on the cheek. Eric Young says he and ODB are the only married team, and he offers ODB for a night but Hulk says he couldn't afford her. He says he can't make a decision right now, but he knows he needs to eliminate one of the teams right now. Hulk says he is still worried about Sabin's knee after the loss at Lockdown, so they are out and he will make a decision soon.

Brooke Tessmacher vs Gail Kim

Brooke Tessmacher comes out and says she didn't pin Gail Kim by a fluke because she is a real contender to Gail's title and not just a pair of assests. Brooke tells Gail to get her ass to the ring, then Gail laughs as she comes to the ring and and taunts Brooke while she is held back by the ref. Gail takes a cheap shot as the bell rings, then she hits a running kneelift for two and follows up with a corner whip and flying elbow smash. Gail goes for another elbow shot but Brooke avoids it, then she takes a couple shots at Gail and whips her into the corner but Gail clotheslines her. She takes Brooke on her shoulders and hits a front slam, then Brooke comes down with some clotheslines but Gail drop toe holds her onto the ropes. Gail slaps Brooke and hits a spinning elbow before going up top for a dropkick, but Brooke rolls out of the way and hits a suplex front slam for the win.
