PWTorch is reporting that WWE ran advertisements during this week's episode of Smackdown for Randy Orton's return to the brand on next week's episode of Friday Night Smackdown. Orton is currently out with an "injury" that was scripted in during his recent feud with Wade Barrett. At this time it is still unknown if the injury was legitimate, but it appears as though Orton will be returning to action in the very near future.
Next weekend's Royal Rumble PPV takes place in Orton's hometown of St. Louis, MO. Wrestlezone columnist and host for the Voice of Wrestling will be on hand for the event.
