Austin Aries comes out and says they have to excuse him for sounding like a broken record, but he once again defended his title successfully and there's no one who can beat him. He tells the fans they can chant that he sucks, but it's not true because he wouldn't still have the title if he did. Aries says he doesn't want them chanting his name either because it doesn't do anything for him so he thinks he is going to get on his yacht and sail the world looking for better competition. Alex Shelley comes out to talk to Aries and says he missed the fans but he didn't miss Aries at all. Shelley says he was sitting at home with a shoulder injury for a long time, and the day he came back Chris Sabin hurt his knee. He says his life revolves around wrestling and he was going to come back with Sabin, but he can't stand watching Aries anymore.
Shelley says he doesn't think Aries is worth anything and says he couldn't beat the piss out of a urine soaked sponge, and Aries says he must have come up with that while he was hurt. Shelley says he is sick of having a douchebag champion in his division, so he asked Sabin for the OK and he is back in the X Division for awhile. Aries tells him he is nothing so Shelley says if he isn't a threat he should have no problem giving him a title shot. Aries says he needs to prove himself, and then he will give him a shot so Shelley tells Aries to pick an opponent for him so he can beat him then take the title at Against All Odds.
Angelina Love (w/ Winter) vs Eric Young
EY locks up with the ref then calls time out when the bell rings because he doesn't want to fight Angelina, so he locks up with the ref and some fans on the floor. The ref screams at him to get in and wrestle, then he chases after Winter then jumps in the ring and offers a handshake to Angelina. She screams at him to fight her so he locks up with the ref again, then backs him into the corner with Angelina and starts making a count. Angelina walks out of the corner and kicks him below the belt to get disqualified, then she beats up EY with Winter until ODB runs to the ring. They turn the attack to ODB for a moment but EY throws them out of the ring then helps ODB back up, and she kisses him to the shock of Angelina and Winter.
