A fan recently informed John Cena on Twitter that WWE is now selling "Cena Sucks" t-shirts. Cena replied with the following tweet: "It is what it is. Id have to say that u would approve..me I just show up and give all I got. Rise above hate."
Interestingly enough, Cena claims that WWE approached him back in 2008 with the idea of selling the shirts, an idea which Cena claims he rejected – until now:
They have wanted too since 2008. I told them no. Finally I just said I dont care. Im fine with the way things are. Some like me. Some don't.
