Alex Silva with Tammy Stych v. Finlay. Started great. Had like a 2 minute period with Dave's head in a leg lock, followed by an "injury" by Finlay that seemed to stall the match for a good 5 minutes. Guess you gotta fill that 2 hour timeslot somehow.
Afterwards some really good back and forth, both guys looked good (except for Silva's excessive tongue display). Alex got busted the hard way at the end of the match and pinned Finlay clean.
Main Event was Rock and Roll Express v. Kevin Nash and… wait for it….. Diamond Dallas Paige. After the first minute or so of Robert Gibson and DDP locking up, Marvin Ward shows up and tells Robert, DDP and the ref to take the rest of the night off and out comes Ricky Garvin as guest referee for a squash match. Morton had the crimson mask early after a bare turnbuckle hit. He and Nash bantered on the mic a bit about their "feud" (yes, in the middle of the match) which ended with Nash powerbombing Morton for the pin. Morton appeared to be pointing to his chest and waving for someone as the cameras went off the air. The Legends Grudge Match (Mulkeymania v. Midnight Express) never happened.
I would say it rated just under the average TNA PPV – which for a really small organization with limited production equipment is a compliment. Having Larry Z and Dutch Mantel on the mic was a disaster (Dutch, Larry's still got it announcing). The homegrown crew of interviewers was hard to watch – not worth $25, but felt better than paying $40 for TNA
