After the Match
Beth Phoenix and Natalya are shown sitting backstage watching the match that just took place, neither look too interested or impressed.
In-Ring
Jon Laurinaitis is shown walking to the ring. As he enters the ring he lifts the mic and says he is a bit nervous, knowing the fans may not like him, however he has a job to do. Laurinaitis announces that at Vengence, Alberto Del Rio will be defending his title against John Cena. He then asked for Jim Ross to join him in the ring. Ross walks up only to be told that he walked out on Triple H, he walked out on Raw, and he walked out on Oklahoma. He continued that Ross was an ingrate and that he was fired. Ross walks up the ramp, tips his hat to the fans, and goes backstage.
Mason Ryan, Kofi Kingston, and Evan Bourne vs. David Otunga, Dolph Ziggler, and Jack Swagger (w/ Vickie Guerrero)
Each of the six competitors make their way to the ring as their music sounds in the arena. The match is formally announced as the bell rings and the match begins. Swagger and Bourne with a lot of back and forth in the ring, Bourne attempts a knee press. Swagger is able to block and counters with a powerbomb. Mason is tagged in and hits a twisting slam on Dolph Ziggler who was also recently tagged in for the pin and win.
Winner: Mason Ryan, Kofi Kingston, and Evan Bourne
C.M. Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/ Ricardo Rodriguez)
Alberto Del Rio and C.M. Punk both make their way down the ramp and into the ring. The match is formally announced as the bell rings and the match begins. A lot of back and forth between both men early on in the match. Out of nowhere, John Laurinaitis is shown walking to the top of the ramp, interrupting the match. Laurinaitis calls a stop to the match. He announces as general manager, he was ordering the match to stop. Laurinaitis said he was turning this match into a tag team match with two other men he reinstated. The Miz and R-Truth come out singing the “You Suck” song as they entered. Del Rio faked a knee injury and is taken out of the match. CM Punk got the upperhand by clotheslining The Miz and R-Truth at the same time. Punk begins to attack Miz but R-Truth re-enters and begins to attack him. R-Truth and Miz are disqualified but continue their attack as the bell is rung. Triple H comes running down the ramp and into the ring to help CM Punk and begins attacking The Miz. CM Punk throws R-Truth into the commentators desk. The show ends with Triple H’s music playing.
