Alberto Del Rio vs John Morrison
Alberto avoids locking up so Morrison starts punching him until Alberto rolls under the ropes, then knocks him back down when he comes back in. Alberto kicks him on the way up, then punches him a few times and whips him into the corner, and chokes him on the ropes until the ref calls for the break. He works on Morrison's left arm then whips him off the ropes but Morrison dropkicks him for a two count and puts Alberto in a side headlock. Alberto stands up and kicks him, then tries to suplex him but Morrison counters out and throws Alberto through the ropes and to the mat. Morrison tries to jump on him from the apron, but Alberto ducks and throws his head into the barricade as we go to a commercial.
Alberto is still in control after the break, and he has Morrison grounded in a rear chinlock, then counters Morrison's offensive attempt with a backbreaker. He bodyslams Morrison and goes back to the chinlock, but Morrison gets up and this time gets headbutted into the corner, but Morrison buys himself time and back body drops a charging Alberto out to the floor. Morrison hits some clotheslines when he comes back in and follows it with a kick to ribs, but Alberto stays in it with a bridging belly to back suplex for two. Morrison almost steals a fall, then kicks Alberto and connects with a tornado DDT for two, and both men are slow to get back up.
Morrison is first to his feet, and he catches Alberto with a hurricanrana, then kicks him in the ribs and hits a Flying Chuck kick. Morrison goes for Starship Pain but Alberto dodges it and throws him shoulder first into the ringpost. Alberto pulls him back into the center of the ring and applies the Cross Armbreaker and gets Morrison to tap out. He isn't finished and reapplies the hold on the ring floor until the ref gets him to break it, and he leaves with Ricardo while raising his title in the air.
