NEWS and NOTES

Great Championship Wrestlingâ<80><99>s Taylor McKnight sits in with me tonight for a PSP Fix, live at 9:30 PM ET. If you miss it, the archive will be available afterward.

Once again, the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission opted to delay voting on new regulations that would enforce tighter restrictions on professional wrestling in the state. In attendance were Georgia Wrestling Promoters Advisory Committee head Bill Behrens, World Wrestling Alliance 4 promoter Frank Aldridge, and Atlanta-based attorney John Taylor, representing World Wrestling Entertainment. Behrens has had ongoing negotiations with the GAEC, and many of his recommendations have been accepted. Because there are still some issues unresolved between both parties, the Commission agreed to wait until their November session to vote on implementation of any new rules.
